Luggage Woes

It was an interesting time at the airport today when we actually went there to find out where our luggage has gone. Did I mention our battery recharger and video cam recharger were in that bag? So sorry guys, I just ran out of video potential.  Fortunately Ed has his camera and he is relentless with logging what must be over 3000 hours of footage - how long have we been here? He’s assigned the job of video editing.

As it turn out our luggage is now somewhere in Dallas, Texas. Apparently it was sitting in the Tegucigalpa airport for a few days until it got bored and hopped a plane for good ole Texas - probably just a few hours before we got to the airport. Sigh!

It was very interesting watching Abraham do battle with the American Airlines rep over how all the information was in the computer from Miami, but they had no record of it. I had the computer printout in hand.  Some miscommunication in their system apparently which bottom line means…they’re trying to get it sent back to Tegus (Tegucigalpa) before we leave… and if not….who knows if we’ll ever see our kids clothes again…and my video recharger. However, the good news is…our suitcase is getting to see a lot of the world for free. I hope it brings back souvenirs!!!!
